As a young child, Joshua set out to be the first architect-pharmacist-NBA center-illustrator-videogame savant-rockstar ever to grace the cover of GQ. Things didn’t quite pan out that way, but he showed enough varied and sundry interests in his youth to merit a prescient warning from his mother:

“You don’t want to be a jack-of-all-trades and a master of none.”

The utterance of those words sealed his fate; since that day, Joshua has been doomed to an overabundance of interests. He has tried everything he can get his hands on, and discovered he can turn his hand to just about whatever he tries.

There is one difference from the portence, however: he plans to master all those trades.
